For audit firms

For the client whose PBC list comes back half-finished.

We organize and index nonprofit federal-award records before fieldwork. The client keeps responsibility for its records and decisions. Your firm keeps its audit judgments.

Introductions only · No referral fee of any kind

Fictional example: an auditor’s request list with items checked off, beside a request-to-record map naming open items.
Scope

What we do, and what stays yours.

What we prepare

  • Award register with periods, amounts and reporting calendar
  • Spending by award tied to the client’s general ledger, with SEFA support
  • Time-and-effort trail matched to payroll and ledger, exceptions listed
  • Procurement and exclusion files above the client’s written threshold
  • Subrecipient monitoring evidence where it applies
  • Corrective-action files documenting what management did about prior findings
  • Request-list triage: your list mapped to binder tabs, missing items named

Where our role ends

Audit Ready Grants is not a CPA firm. The work does not include:

  • Audits, attestation or any assurance work
  • Accounting, tax, legal or compliance determinations
  • Deciding what is sufficient. That is your judgment.
  • Representing a client to you, an agency or a pass-through entity
  • Promising an audit outcome or the absence of findings

Client records are never sent to an AI or external processing service, and are shared only after written management approval and confirmed secure intake. Management stays responsible for its records, its SEFA and its responses. Whether our involvement raises any independence consideration in your engagement is your firm's determination, not ours.

How we work with firms

Introductions only.

No referral fee, no commission, no white-label arrangement and no compensation of any kind for attest-client introductions, in either direction. Hand your client the link that fits. They decide whether to contact us, and we never contact your clients on your behalf.
